We are currently seeking an experienced Member Service Representative for a credit union located in San Pedro, CA.

Type: Full-time, temporary covering LOA

Pay: $20/hr

Branch hours: Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm or a shift close to that

Responsibilities:

• Basic teller duties
• Deliver outstanding client service by executing financial transactions in accordance with credit union policies and procedures while maintaining an acceptable record in daily drawer balancing.
• Resolve account service issues and respond to client inquires promptly and effectively.
• Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets.
• Drive efforts in the branch to identify and implement a positive overall client experience.
• Deepen client relationships by effectively executing all services and referring bank products while achieving goals through daily sales activities and branch sales promotions.

Requirements:

• 1 year of teller experience within a credit union or bank
• Previous experience opening new accounts preferred!
• Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate communication and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of customer requests including difficult customer situations
• Possess an enthusiastic and professional attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill

Pay: $20.00 per hour
