Pay rate: 

· $21-$24/hr

Responsibilities

· Initiate patient interaction by documenting vital statistics, conducting interviews, and recording medical histories; carry out physical exams and standard tests, ensuring clear communication and addressing any queries related to each process.

Experience:

· A high school diploma or GED.

· Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program OR comparable healthcare vocational training (i.e. foreign-trained physician, paramedic, etc.) required

· At least 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.

· 1 year of experience in phlebotomy.

· Certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers.

· Familiarity with EClinicalWorks or similar EMR systems.

· Experience with elderly patients is advantageous.
