Job Summary:
The Driver Coordinator will interact with company drivers addressing inquiries and resolving issues, providing a higher level of support.
Hours: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM - Monday - Friday
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Interacts with drivers via telephone, email, online chat, to provide support and information on an all concern/issues once dispatched for delivery.
- Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve drivers and concerns.
- Maintains detailed documentation on all interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
- Uses knowledge of a specific issues, service needs, or other areas of expertise to answer inquiries to forward to the appropriate staff.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills including active listening.
- Service-oriented and able to resolve driver issues.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
