Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturing client in Douglasville, GA to find a full-time Plant Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee production processes to ensure timely completion and consistent quality.
- Optimize performance and implement strategies to maximize efficiency and meet targets.
- Lead production and scheduling departments through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production flow and on-time completion.
- Promote Lean Manufacturing and 6S principles to drive process improvements and minimize product loss.
- Address customer concerns and implement improvements based on feedback.
- Travel to other sites as needed to support production activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Management, or related field preferred
- 7 years of experience leading production or operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
