Adecco Permanent Recruitment is seeking a Wireless Network Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate for this position will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure for our client's customers. Other responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations, troubleshooting network issues, and leading the planning and execution of network projects.

Duties:
•Design wireless networks, create predictive surveys, conduct wireless surveys, prepare reports, and communicating the results.
•Perform design, engineering, implementation, maintenance, and upgrades of local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) infrastructure.
•Maintain a thorough knowledge of existing network hardware and software in use to provide technical and administrative support and provide internal analysis and support of the network infrastructure.
•Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance the organization's network capabilities.
•Install and configure WAN and LAN hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points to support voice, video, and data systems. Develop system specifications, architecture designs, integration and test plans, and all relevant documentation.
•Act as the technical interface with vendors and other external stakeholders and review/make recommendations on network service and maintenance arrangements. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance organizations’ network capabilities.
•Lead the planning and execution of network projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions into larger IT initiatives.
•Review technical documentation of supported environments to ensure that documentation is accurate and up to date.
•Develop risk management and mitigation strategies, ensuring service performance indicators are met or exceeded.
•Develop and implement incident response plans for network-related emergencies.
•Travel to sites to perform on site surveys, support customer deployments, installations, and maintenance activities.
Experience:
•Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field or equivalent certifications.
•5 years' experience working as a Network Engineer with a focus on wireless design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
•Industry certifications such as CWNA, CWNP, CCNP, or CCIE are highly desirable.
•Thorough understanding of wireless network engineering and survey procedures and practices; well-versed in wireless equipment, wireless LAN (WLAN) standards, design, and protocols
•Experience with Ekahau AI Pro software and Sidekick hardware for wireless surveys or comparable tools and software.
•Technical experience with most common network components to include routers, switches, firewalls, protocols, DNS, remote access, and VPNs. Also has knowledge of TCP/IP routing technologies including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
•Experience with Network analysis tools and skilled in troubleshooting, and problem solving.
•Experience with firewalls/VPN devices.
•Proficient in MS Office suite -- Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
