The Driver, Material Handler II will verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.
Essential Job Functions:

• Perform at least one of the two following items:
  • Bulk Tank Car and truck unloading
  • Maintain a CDL license and operate a company owned commercial vehicle to move material between sites.
• Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
• Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
• Use of bar code technology, systems and hardware.
• Prepares and loads shipments of hazardous waste and manages hazardous waste in areas where they are accumulated.

Qualifications & Experience:

• HS Diploma.

• 5 years of CDL experience - tanker and hazmat preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Technology and tools.
• SAP, forklift experience required, Microsoft.

The pay range for this opportunity is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to, location, years of experience and education. We offer a comprehensive benefits package; this position is bonus eligible and pays between - $39,200 - $58,000 annually - nonexempt.
