Responsibilities :

• Warmly greet and welcome patients to ensure they have a pleasant and comfortable arrival experience.
• Keep patient records current and accurate, including personal details, medical history, and insurance information.
• Record and document vital signs like blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rates.
• Review patients' medical histories and their primary concerns, documenting pertinent information.
• Aid healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, maintaining a sterile and well-organized environment.
• Gather and prepare patient samples for laboratory testing, including blood and urine specimens.
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers, following established protocols.
• Educate patients about medications, procedures, and post-care instructions to ensure comprehension and adherence.
• Assist with medical billing and coding tasks, guaranteeing the accurate and timely submission of claims.
• Manage and sanitize medical equipment and instruments, ensuring their proper operation.
• Handle medical supplies and inventory, monitoring stock levels and restocking as necessary.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and assist in processing insurance claims efficiently.
• Attend to phone calls, address inquiries, and provide administrative support at the front desk.
• Ensure patient comfort by addressing inquiries, offering reassurance, and aiding with mobility.
• Strictly uphold patient confidentiality and privacy regulations, including compliance with the HIPAA.
• Provide assistance during medical emergencies, following established procedures and offering basic life support
• Uphold cleanliness and sanitation in patient care areas, including examination rooms and waiting areas.
• Stay current on medical procedures, regulations, and industry developments through continuous training and education.
