Description$1,250 Hiring BonusGeneral Description Of Duties
- Ensure assigned health care services are provided/met in a timely manner
- Coordinate appointments and arrange transportation for client health services
- Accompany clients to appointments as required
- May accompany clients who require emergency or urgent care to appropriate providers
- Ensure all follow-up directives are relayed to all relevant parties
- Perform all related administrative duties
- Administer medication as directed
- Report any changes in health or nutritional status
- Record accurate data onto logs, case records, etc.
- Assess clients daily when in the home
- Perform 6-month health assessments on all clients
- Interact positively and constructively with all parties including but not limited to: Guardians, Case Managers, Therapists, Health Care professionals, and all agency personnel
- Attend all trainings and other related meetings as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must have RN license in New Mexico
- Five (5) years experience in healthcare with persons with developmental disabilities preferred
- Three (3) years supervised nursing experience preferred
- Current license to practice nursing within the State of New Mexico
- Must maintain CPR, First Aid, and other required trainings/certifications
- Ability to effectively communicate in English with internal and external customers of Adelante
- Ability to read and write English to understand and interpret written procedures
- Capable of giving and receiving instructions in written and verbal forms
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors, and co-workers
Job: Full-Time Floating between ABQ and Belen.Pay: $30.00 per hour.
