$1,250 Hiring Bonus General Description of Duties:
Performs vacuuming, trash removal, sweeping/mopping floors, dusting, restroom cleaning, carpet cleaning, hard floor maintenance, general grounds maintenance, and window cleaning.
Executes striping, waxing, buffing, dust mopping, damp mopping of floors, and carpet care as scheduled.
Cleans buildings including offices, hallways, meeting rooms, and classrooms.
Assists in maintenance of floor care equipment as needed.
Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks restrooms; delivers supplies and materials as needed.
Removes trash from buildings; secures buildings as needed.
Performs other tasks as required by the assigned contract.
Education and Training:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Floor care experience required.
Two years custodial work experience preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate in English with internal and external customers of Adelante.
Ability to read and write English to understand and interpret written procedures.
Capability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms.
Proficiency in presenting information and responding to questions from clients, supervisors, and co-workers.
Other Requirements:
Must pass TB test, background check, and drug screen.
Must have reliable transportation, a valid NM driver's license, and an Agency insurable driving record.
Strong attention to detail and quality required.
Must be able to remain on feet for approximately 90% of the workday.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs. frequently.
Must be able to operate equipment continuously for several hours at a time.
Must be able to climb ladders for cleaning purposes.
