Job Summary:
The Ädelbrook Staff Accountant is responsible for monthly and general accounting responsibilities at Adelbrook. The Staff Accountant reports to and is supervised by the Director of Finance. The Staff Accountant also assists and acts as back up to the Accounts Payable Manager for all aspects of accounts payable processing at Adelbrook using MIP/Microix.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processes accounts payable, to include invoice approval review, account allocation and entry into Microix/MIP.
- Prepares checks and electronic fund transfers.
- Manages customer vendor relations including updating W-9
- Prepares invoices for mailing
- Reconciles intercompany accounts and prepares allocations.
- Assists Director of Finance with preparing monthly financial reports for executive team’
- Follows up on questions regarding monthly financial reports
- Prepares and books other entries as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and other Qualifications:
BS in accounting or similar required. Advanced skill in Excel and Outlook. Experience in MIP/Microix a plus but not required. Detail oriented with strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills, reliable and highly motivated. Open to change, willing to learn new skills, ability to follow up on pending issues and meet deadlines. Demonstrate planning and organizational skills necessary to balance and prioritize work.
