Job Quick Facts:

• Cases Read per Day: approx 40 surgical/cytology

• Physicians in Group: 1.5

• Support Staff: 4 Histotechnologists, 1 Pathology Assistant, 2 Cytotechnologists

• Required to supervise other healthcare providers: Yes

• Duties:

- Clinical lab/blood bank

- Resolve difficult antibodies hematology

- Review "out-of-the-norm" peripheral blood smears

- Attend and give immediate adequacy statements for fine needle aspirations

• Procedures:

- Anatomic: Surgical Pathology, GI, GU, Dermapathology, Cytology, Autopsy

- Clinical: Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry/Serology, Blood Bank

• Type of Cryostat: Leica

• Type of Microscope: Olympus

• Method of Prep: Surepath

• EMR: CoPath

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
