Adeo is a non-profit organization that supports people with brain injuries and other disabilities to take their place as full citizens of their community. Residents with traumatic brain injuries are supported to lead interdependent, purposeful lives at Stephens Farm @Adeo. In addition, Adeo Physical Therapy provides both land and pool-based therapy to the larger community.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position will provide outreach support in recruiting talent from various community locations including but not limited to colleges, high schools, and other locations where students from under-resourced communities congregate. The recruiter will also assist in the design and implementation of a curriculum that will include training and development of both soft and hard skills on the job. In addition, this position will organize, plan, and prioritize the completion of various projects related to this grant.
Expected Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10AM to 2PM
Expected Term: 6 Months from date of hire.
General Statement of Duties
· Contacts and develops relationships with local educational organizations to identify apprentice candidates for the Workforce Development Program.
· Assist with the development of training based on current tasks performed by Adeo staff.
· Ensure weekly training milestones are met.
· This position works in a team environment and must be able to work independently, exercise good judgement and excel at collaboration.

Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop a project plan in coordination with the Operations Manager for the Workforce Development Training grant.
· Assist in the development of training curriculum with support from the Operations Manager to provide apprentices the needed skills to become a Direct Care Provider.
· Provide coaching and act as a resource to apprentices.
· Collaborate with the Operations Manager and other Adeo leadership to identify what is working and what needs to be revised to make the apprentices’ training successful.
· Other duties as assigned to meet grant requirements.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Two years administrative experience or education.
· Healthcare experience preferred.
· Experience working as a Direct Care Provider preferred.
· Comfortable contacting high schools, colleges and other organizations to develop long term relations for the Workforce Development Project.

· Reliable Transportation for community outreach
· Accurate typing and computer skills
· Ability to speak, read and write English. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Physical Requirements
· Lift to shoulder height, carry 25lbs occasionally
· Lift, carry, push, stand, walk, reach, sit, and crouch
· Possess visual and auditory acuity
· Ability to tolerate sitting/standing for 4-6 hours
