Adfast is currently seeking a talented Technical Sales Representative to expand our business in Tennessee!
Working Conditions:
Schedule: Field based, Monday to Friday
Status: Permanent, Full-Time

Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Find, establish and maintain business relationships with our distributor and partner decision makers (manufacturer sales rep JH, Wholesaler, tier 2 Distributors, general contractor)
- Understand the decision-making process of our distributors/partners
- Regularly train store employees (wholesaler, distributor (tier 2) and contractor)
- Obtain a list of contractors from distributors
- Meet with contractors and discuss competitive advantages
- Visit construction jobsites and siding installers to conduct product demonstrations and/or product testing
- Answering calls from stakeholders for technical questions
- Participation in Adfast-relevant networking events – Trade shows, Industry association mixers, etc.
- Engage existing customers to create new opportunities for increased product mix, volume, and margin
- Update/maintain account information and new opportunity pipeline daily (Salesforce CRM)
- Find general contractors who are responsible for projects
- Identify new business opportunities in targetted construction segments
- Prospection for future distribution partners
- Find other installers in the construction market
Requirements:
- A minimum of three (3) years of field based B2B sales experience (Manufacturing and or Construction industry is a strong asset)
- Availability for daily regional travel (90%) and occasional overnight travel (10%)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation, clean driving record, and current auto insurance

- High level of sales-driven entrepreneurship – Incumbent must think/operate with a “hunter” mindset
- Experience in developing/executing tactical sales strategies designed to bolster regional sales growth
- Competency with sales productivity tools (Salesforce CRM experience is a strong asset)
- Strong organizational, time management, and territorial zoning skills – Creating/owning a monthly schedule
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Exceptional prospecting & consultative selling skills – Ability to build/sustain strong customer relationships
- Strong interpersonal skills – Ability to appreciate & embrace different personalities
- Resilience, tenacity, and self-confidence when faced with challenging circumstances
- Ability to thrive both autonomously and within a remote, cross-functional team environment (Sales, Service, Logistics, Marketing, R&D)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (presenter skills are an asset)
- Polished, professional presentation and an ethical demeanor
- Understanding of architectural specifications and construction design elements (an asset)
