Adidas is Hiring a Training Coach, Night Shift Near Indianapolis, IN

Purpose:
The Training Coach i s responsible for reinforcing training material and best practices. Mentoring/training new hires, as well as coaching existing staff. This position will work with distribution associates with the goal of driving efficiency improvements and quality expectations through consistent training, knowledge transfer, and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
•Will be accountable for taking each new staff member through the training curriculum, teaching the basics of machine operation, safety, vocabulary, and supporting them as they begin to learn their job duties.
•This person will be responsible for following up on trainees/trainers ensuring best practice is being followed.
•Ensure all training documentation regarding best practices, safety protocol, and new hire orientation is current and collaborated across shifts.
•Maintain clear documentation on associate trends including initial training sessions and follow up sessions.
•Conduct group demonstrations on the distribution floor regarding new processes, training updates, and new hire orientations.
•Translate standards/pay variables to ensure associates understand how efficiencies are calculated.
•Proficient in distribution functions
•Train all new employees on standards and best practices ensuring the ability to meet production and quality standards.
•Responsible for continuous development of skills and techniques with existing employees, specifically lower performing associates.
•Lead/track coaching sessions and clearly communicate progress to management.
•Track and report on KPI's and skills matrix data.
•Assist Engineering in developing time standards in each of the production environments.
•Be able to learn and understand time study and lean manufacturing analysis software used in developing production standards for the pay for performance incentive program.
•Be able to translate pay for performance program knowledge to associates explaining how the pay for performance incentive program works and how the associate can earn incentive.
•New employee orientation (NEO) - Deliver NEO and be able to answer questions for new hires. Work with Human Resources Business Partner's to ensure proper information is maintained.
•Support and assist the Point Guards in their training. Ensure they are training to the SOP's and following all safety procedures. Lead Point Guard professional development classes.
•Support the Indy recognition programs - High Five and MVP, through encouraging associates to nominate their peers, sort and organize entries, schedule voting sessions with leadership teams.
•Ability to learn and support material integration into a learning management software (Alchemy). Utilize software to train and track associate knowledge.
•Ability to learn and support training using iWarehouse software.
•Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
•Computer skills including, Excel, Word, and Outlook, Power Point a plus.
•Able to work a 10-hour shift. Must have flexibility in shift and hours with ability to work overtime as needed
•Ability to track and document results accurately.
•Ability to interpret and translate data to the distribution floor.
•Ability to learn the operation of production equipment.
•Ability to communicate effectively both from an individual and group standpoint.
•Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written in English- bi-lingual a plus.
•Must maintain a high level of professionalism and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
•Ability to lift totes, product, boxes, etc. regularly.
•Ability to push buggies/gaylords regularly.
•Ability to move safely around Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs)/forklifts/conveyor systems.
•Ability to wear personal protective gear as needed (eye protection, ear protection, gloves, etc).
•Ability to work in warm environments
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
•HS Diploma, college degree preferred.
•Distribution center experience, pick/pack/PIT equipment
•Demonstrable experience in leading teams and/or training personnel.
•Must be able to speak and write in English fluently.
