TITLE: Project Manager
LOCATION: Kent, WA
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract (6 months)
PAY RANGE: $45-54/hr

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- We are seeking a Project Manager for a space exploration company, which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing and testing project management looking to further their career in the space industry.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to transition components from development to rate production testing phases.
- Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure testing protocols meet company standards for vibration, dynamics, cryogenic, thermal, and functional testing.
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of test environments, apparatus, and schedules to maximize efficiency.
- Maintain clear communication with the project team, provide regular updates, and adjust plans as necessary to address any changes or challenges.
- Collaborate with supply chain partners to ensure timely delivery of components and testing equipment.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's or in Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred
- PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.
- 3 years of experience in a project management role, preferably in aerospace manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of component testing methodologies, specifically related to vibration, dynamics, cryogenic, thermal, and functional tests.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven track record of leading teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
