Responsibilities:

· Support the development and verifying the implementation of the Fluid/Thermal Interface Control Documents (ICD) in the MK1 lunar lander vehicle.

· Define tests and verification activities for Mk1 lunar lander vehicle Fluids/Thermal ICD and own the verification Data package for the ICD

· Track thermal conductivity for Mk1 vehicle major components to provide inputs for vehicle thermal analysis

· Review, scrub, and update MK1 vehicle Component Temperature List (CTL)

· Contribute to the development and documentation of Mk1 Fluids/Thermal vehicle requirements and verification data package

· Lead or contribute to the vehicle level risks focused on thermal and fluids integration areas

Qualifications

· B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or related technical subject area

· Deep technical knowledge in fluids and thermal subsystems in spacecraft

· Proven track record in developing and managing ICDs

· Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations related to thermal and fluid systems in aerospace

· Knowledgeable of systems engineering practices, integration processes, and mission/safety critical systems

· Familiarity with relevant software tools (e.g. Ansys, MATLAB, CFD software)

· Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills

· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

· Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion

Desired (but not required):

· M.S. in Aerospace, Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical subject area

· Experience in designing and integrating pressure and temperature interfaces in aerospace or any deep space lander systems

· 5 years of proven experience

· Experience with full spacecraft design life cycle

Compensation:

The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, competencies, competencies, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
