Dynamic apparel company seeks Technical Designer who is a team player and can work in a fast-paced environment. Must have an understanding of garment construction. Proficiency in Excel and PLM required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the design team to understand creative concepts
- Develop and create accurate technical packages, including specifications and garment construction details
- Conduct fittings and collaborate with design and oversea factories to ensure garments meet design aesthetic, fit, and spec requirements
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve design and fit issues to ensure feasibility
- Provide technical expertise during the design pass off, advising on construction techniques, fabrications, and finishing details
- Fit, evaluate, and approve photo samples, ensuring they align with design intent and quality standards
- Stay updated on industry trend, technological advancements, and manufacturing processes to continually enhance product quality and efficiency
