- Batch, make minor base modifications, screen ingredients and execute minor formulation changes with supervision of the Scientist; update formulas accordingly in the formula database.
- Generate data for customer demo sheets and prepare sample shipments.
- Perform technical analysis on samples and record results in project file.
- Understand and perform basic math conversions.
- Maintain lab safety, organization and cleanliness; take personal responsibility to engage in plant and food safety practices to prevent hazards that cause foodborne illness or injury and provide a clean, safe work environment.
- Monitor and order stock of ingredients for use in sampling; correctly store all products to ensure product integrity and maintain good workspace environment.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
- Able to complete an internship in the summer (May/June-August 2024)
- Must be geographically flexible to relocate to ADM sites
- Pursuing a four-year degree in Food Science or a related field with an anticipated graduation between December 2024 and Summer 2026
- Preferred GPA of 2.8 or greater
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to function effectively, both independently and with a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to collaborate within various levels of an organization
- ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
- Internships are 10-12 weeks in duration
- Must be open to relocation to various locations (Erlanger, KY \ Kennesaw, GA \Fort Collins, CO)
- Hourly Rates of $20 - $24hr - paid weekly
- Interns are responsible for transportation to and from work
- Interns who demonstrate high potential and engagement may be offered another internship if still pursuing a degree, or a full-time position after graduation
- ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
