Operations Administrator (Bilingual - Spanish)

Details:

  • Pay rate is $22/hour
  • Shift: Day shift Mon-Fri, 7am-4pm (May need to flex early or late to support colleagues on 3rd and 2nd shifts; may be asked to work holidays, and weekends)
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) required
  • Temporary contract position with Raise with potential for fulltime with ADM.
  • Completion of Background Check required before offer.

Summary:

ADM Milling Camp Hill leadership team is looking for a bi-lingual (Spanish) operations administrator to help with the day to day functions of the ADM Mill. This individual will be an effective communicator, proficient in Microsoft Office applications, have good follow through, and some experience partnering with or managing HR policies. This role will have daily interactions with site leadership, colleagues and support teams. The roles responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage colleague onboarding and first day orientation (I-9, training, badges, schedule, success factor navigation, ADM overview)
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition recruiter to schedule and conduct interviews on site
  • Help facilitate training and conversations with colleagues that speak Spanish
  • Manage and update recognition program for the site
  • Provide guidance to colleagues relating to accessing our employee system, paystubs, benefits portal, etc
  • Help leadership draft discipline documentation
  • Manage document, discipline and training filing system
  • Partner with Regional HR Manager and leadership to escalate personnel issues
  • Assist leadership in translating coaching/disciplinary conversations for colleagues that only speak Spanish and translation is needed
  • Assist safety manager with the execution of the Random Drug Screening process
  • Partner with commercial admins in coordinating events for site recognition, milestones and holiday
  • Track and manage attendance, time-off request, and sick time for hourly colleagues
  • Support initial intake of colleague complaints/concerns, escalate to and/or partner with the appropriate member of leadership to address
  • Assist site leadership in the purchasing of supplies, and materials
  • Assist in training leadership on recruiting practices, onboarding, payroll, and other functions to support in coverage when needed

Job Requirements:

  1. Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, while an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing) is essential, as the role involves communicating with Spanish-speaking colleagues and translating documents.
  3. Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, administration, or a similar support role is preferred.
  4. Knowledge: Proficiency in HR processes, including onboarding, training, employee relations, performance management, and compensation and benefits administration is crucial. Familiarity with HR information systems (e.g., SuccessFactors) and compliance requirements (e.g., I-9) is necessary.
  5. Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities, attention to detail, problem-solving, teamwork, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are vital to the role.
  6. Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn new software and systems is required.
  7. Certifications: Professional certifications in HR, such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent, are preferred but not required.
  8. Other Requirements: The candidate may need to undergo a background check and drug screening, as they will be involved in managing drug screening processes and sensitive information.
