Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Child Care Program Specialist to join our team! As a program specialist, you will oversee all aspects of licensing requirements and be responsible for the weekly newsletter. You will ensure compliance with OSSE and write the weekly newsletter. The ideal candidate deeply understands the DC childcare regulations and can communicate and write newsletters well.

Main Responsibilities

Ensures DC compliance with OSSE and DC regulations for childcare
Write weekly newsletter
Communicate with families as needed for compliance purposes

Other responsibilities

Order and manage supplies for classrooms based on chosen curriculum standards
Organise school events
As needed

Qualifications

B.A. or Masters
Experience previously working in a daycare center or preschool
Ability to build strong relationships with coworkers and families to ensure a positive learning experience
