FLSA Status: Variable Hours, Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Here are some facts about this position:

• The work is outdoors along highways during daylight hours
• We have been doing this type of work safely for over 30 years
• Safety equipment is provided and replaced as needed
• The work is mixed between litter removal and travel from cleaning spots
• We have a pickup spot that we meet at every morning, and we handle all transportation from there 
• Typically work about 30 - 35 hours every other week, Monday - Thursday

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older and able to lift 20lbs independently
• Have reliable transportation and be able to attend scheduled shifts
• Walk several miles a day and be on their feet for most of their shift
• Communicate verbally and listen to instructions from their supervisor
• Be comfortable working outdoors up to 90% of the shift with exposure to varying temperatures and weather patterns **We do not work in extreme weather conditions**
• Be comfortable working alongside the shoulder of the highway
• Possibility of overnight travel with Supervisor once a month: lodging, food and travel time paid for by company
