As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will juggle multiple responsibilities to execute the finer details of our complex business. Your accommodating personality and ability to balance the needs of several parties will be a welcome support, fundamental to the smooth, seamless functioning of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Research and prepare invoices for entry, verifying approvals and/or receivers.
- Routes necessary invoices through DataMagine/DocFlow for approval.
- Communicates with purchasing buyers for invoices with open purchase orders not received.
- Enters invoices into Stratton Warren and/or Infinium and verifies batch for correct entry.
- Assists in vendor statement reconciliation and requesting invoices.
- Communicates with management on any outstanding processing issues.
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
- Prepare month end logs for accruals and unapproved invoices.
- Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental records and reports, files departmental records and reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
