Our organization is currently seeking an Accounting Operations Specialist.A successful candidate will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Responsible for ensuring accounting processes and systems support the business
• Drive waste out of processes
• Hands on support of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Invoicing
• Accuracy paying bills, invoicing customers, and posting payments
• Support collections follow through with Accounts Receivable
• Understanding of accounting principles
• Complete tasks accurately and timely

Tasks Include

• Paying bills to vendors accurately, on time, and attaching supporting documentation ' 99% of the time and on or before the due date
• Invoicing the customer accurately, on time, and attaching supporting documentation ' 99% of the time and within 3 days of order being ready to invoice
• Collection and posting customer payments accurately, on time, and attaching supporting documentation ' 99% of the time and within 3 days of receiving customer payments
• Uploading Certificate of Liability Insurance forms from vendors
• Collect and send copies of invoices to customers to support timely payments
• Process check runs based on department standards ' starting check runs on or before 10 a.m. on check run days
