FIVES is Hiring a Production Supervisor Near Wentzville, MO
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
•Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipment
•Meets production cost schedule and maintains quality requirements
•Complies with the terms of local and national labor agreements
•Assists in the implementation of divisional and corporate policies
•Assists in the implementation of safety and good housekeeping standards
•Frequent contact with others outside the work group
•Keeps management informed of developments as they occur
•Assists in maintaining department records
•Assists in maintaining corporate and unit management control systems
Required Skills/Experience:
•Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
•Knowledge of basic math
•Oral and written communications skills
•Understanding of basic technology of area where assigned
•Knowledge of scheduling and other management systems
•Relatively high level of analytical ability where problems are complex
•Medium level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees and elicit work output
•Knowledge of quality control procedures
•Have successfully completed behavior-based competency assessments- which measure ability to learn, adaptability, initiative, motivational fit, decision making, results orientation, teamwork, empowerment and organization & planning competencies (aka: DDI inventories and assessments)
Required Education/Training:
•High school graduate or equivalent training, plus additional training such as that acquired in the first one or two years of technical or business school
