LaSalle Network is currently partnered with one of the world's leading law firms, who serve a broad range of clients with market-leading practices in private equity, M&A and other complex corporate transactions. Their US headquarters in Chicago, IL is seeking a dedicated Financial Systems Manager to join their dynamic team.
The Financial Systems Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management and administration of the Firm's financial systems aligning with the business processes of the Finance function. The selected individual will lead the planning, design, development, testing and implementation of various financial systems, collaborating closely with Finance team leadership, IT function and internal/external resources to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Financial Systems Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of business analysts responsible for financial system operational tasks such as data integrity checks, month-end processing, system setups and providing tier 1 and 2 financial system application support
• Manage troubleshooting, issue documentation, design enhancements and prioritize enhancement requests
• Establish standards and best practices for supporting Financial Systems and related BI solutions
• Assist Finance staff in managing financial system data/report requests
• Understand the interplay between existing financial system modules, integrations and other related systems to maintain their integrity in a changing environment
• Engage with Finance and IT teams on financial systems strategy and execution globally
• Manage vendor relationships, including statements of work, resource onboarding and invoice processing

Financial Systems Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
• 10 years of hands-on experience with large scale financial management systems, preferably Elite Enterprise or Elite 3E, with a strong understanding of law firm or professional services industry
• 5 years of team management experience with proven leadership and team development capabilities
• Solid grasp of finance business process cycles, accounting principles and common accounting terminology
• Strong analytical, research and conceptual thinking skills
• Proficiency in SQL query logic, relational databases and report writing
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and work independently
