We are seeking Mechanical Engineering Interns for Summer 2025! This is a paid, in-person, 12 week internship based out of Atlanta, GA.

What You'll Do

• Design & build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production.
• Present design reviews, run analysis, visit vendors, design & execute hardware test plans.
• Use first principles physics as a basis for every decision.
• Travel to test sites and vendors as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or any related field
• Rising senior or beyond at time of internship and have a graduation date between 12/2025 - 06/2026. All applicants should be returning to school at the end of their internship to continue their academic studies.
• Must be returning to school at the end of their internship to continue their academic studies.
• Currently enrolled in an undergrad or graduate engineering program
• CAD skills (any platform) and ability to make high quality engineering drawings that meet common industry standards.
• Demonstrated hands-on fabrication skills.
• High competence with, and fluid use of, engineering first principles
• U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data.
• Ability to complete an in-person 12-week internship in Atlanta, GA

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship experience and/or leadership on a collegiate project team or laboratory
• Experience in NX/Teamcenter and/or Solidworks
• Ability to integrate electrical components into designs (motors, controllers, sensors etc.)
• Experience with machining, sheet metal, injection molding, and 3D printing.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
