The Opportunity Adobe’s Vendor Risk Management Office (VRMO) is looking for a Risk Consultant to drive initiatives around Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) with regard to Adobe's global vendor base. The role will partner closely with team members across cross-functional risk verticals and source-to-pay teams. The Risk Consultant role will be responsible for delivering projects directly aligned with Adobe’s strategic TPRM objectives while ensuring that risk processes perform at scale and rapidly adapt to an evolving risk landscape at the company. The position will be instrumental in redefining the way risk is handled across the company’s global supply base. What you'll Do Work closely with leadership and become a part of a diverse team, to support the management of Adobe’s Third-Party Risk Management program. Deploy multi-functional risk data management and operational improvement initiatives. Using a risk-based sampling approach, perform an evidence-based review of vendor responses to validate the completeness and accuracy of vendor risk questionnaires. Deploy process controls to continuously supervise and mitigate process or data gaps. Partner with many cross functional teams across the globe within Legal, finance and operations. Ensure timely completion of risk mitigation activities by vendors and business owners. Perform ad-hoc project-based work, including reporting and analyses as the need arises. What you need to succeed Business Insight and Analysis: Strong familiarity with TPRM and governance concepts Insights into TPRM industry standard methodologies to augment functional operating models Ability to serve as a change agent for the TPRM function across the organization Ability to analyze large datasets and uncover insights that lead to process improvements Ability to prioritize and structure business optimization projects Problem Solving Skills: Demonstrate ‘critical thinking’: i.e to analyze complex deal issues, make decisions and solve problem self-sufficiently, without requiring ongoing direction setting. Passionate about rapid value creation through quick wins and long-term balanced value creation. A strong change manager with the tenacity to follow through to closure Communication Skills: Being a good communicator is essential to the role as we look to paint exciting visuals for overall project designs and operating models to influence partners and leadership. As such having good interpersonal relationship skills, with an ability to influence a broad organization is key. Being able to deal with ambiguity and work on your own initiative is a key success factor in this role. Experience Level: 3-5 years of dynamic experience in IT, Procurement, or Operational Risk role(s) with a focus on third-party risk Strong understanding of the third party risk management lifecycle Experience conducting compliance or risk assessments, including ongoing monitoring of risk mitigation plans Experience evaluating various certification and attestation reports (e.g.: SOC2) In-depth understanding of risk principles, concepts, and best practices, including risk assessment methodologies and reporting processes Experience working with GRC tools & technologies Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent a must Experience in Risk/Audit management Proficient in MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams (preferred)) Preferred but not essential – Experience with ETL/data-prep tools like Alteryx, SnapLogic, etc. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $88,600 -- $169,250 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
