Advance Care Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in the Somerset, KY area.

The Pharmacy Technician will process and fill prescriptions. This includes but is not limited to:
Carrying and processing prescriptions over, scanning, and labeling prescriptions

• Filling prescriptions with the correct amount of medication per prescription
• Filling multiple prescriptions at a time
• Compounding preparations based on individual patient needs
• Filling medication compliance packaging systems
• Providing immunizations to patients
• Administering Point of Care testing including Covid-19, Influenza, and Strep testing

Experience:
POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS ARE REQUIRED for this position. Previous pharmacy experience is not required but HIGHLY preferred. Pharmacy technician CERTIFICATION is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (Preferred)
