The Purchasing Agent will coordinate the purchasing process of materials and other supplies including: evaluating suppliers, placing orders, tracking orders, recording purchase orders, receiving materials, and return processing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Research and locate supplies and suppliers
• Evaluate suppliers and review bids; may handle negotiations
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors for price negotiations, timely deliveries, tracking orders, etc.
• Develop purchasing strategies
• Issue, revise existing, and receive Purchase Orders in the ERP software
• Oversee inventory and stock levels, and ordering supplies
• Review quality of supplies and inventory
• Work closely with Accounting team on invoicing; price discrepancies, quantity issues, and other issues
• Produce and manage reports

Required Skills:

• 3 years of related working experiencing in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
• Basic math skills
• Time management: comfortable multitasking, handling and prioritizing multiple requests from different parties, excellent follow through and follow - up
• Ability to work quickly and in a potentially high-stress environment
• Attention to detail is a must
• Strong communication skills and extremely self-motivated when managing communication channels
• Highly organized and capable of creating organizational systems that others easily utilize

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
