Advanced Automation Consulting is Hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter Near Columbia, SC

Candidates for this position must reside in the Columbia, SC area and be open to working on-site 4 days per week.

About the opportunity:

We are a privately-owned, IT Staffing and Consulting firm with 20 years of successful operations in the Columbia, SC area. Our business is growing, and we are looking to hire an additional Technology Recruiter to join our internal delivery team. We work hard, and we have fun as a team.

The ideal person will be comfortable with technology at a high level and be willing to research and learn about technical tools, skill sets, methodologies, and environments as needed. They should be comfortable talking to new people frequently and have the ability to determine a candidate's technical skill set, experience, and motivation. The will also need to become proficient at effectively negotiating compensation with candidates at all levels. Excellent organizational skills are a must, as is attention to detail in order to build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates.

Work Schedule:

M-F, 9AM - 5PM core hours, but always willing to keep an eye on email/text to handle candidate needs as they arise. One day per week is an optional remote day (work from your home office).

Compensation:

Guaranteed base salary (no draw) plus uncapped commissions and our full benefits package (PTO, paid sick leave, matching 401k, health/vision/dental, and more).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of candidates for current and future open positions
  • Conduct interviews via phone, video calls, or in person
  • Qualify or reject candidates based on interview feedback and resume reviews
  • Serve as contact person for questions from candidates and to provide continuing updates
  • Meet weekly goals related to calls and candidate submittals
  • Review and format (as needed) a high volume of candidate resumes

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
  • High-energy and motivated to succeed
  • Above average technical aptitude
