Advanced Brain and Body Clinic is Hiring a Medical Office Manager Near Golden Valley, MN

Advanced Brain and Body Clinic, a psychiatry office located in Golden Valley, MN, is currently accepting resumes for the position of Office Manager. The successful candidate will be adept at supervising day-to-day operations that keep our office running with smooth efficiency. Administration duties will include managing people, business and financial resources. Strong analytical, organizational, adaptive and interpersonal skills and abilities are required.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing the daily operations of the office
  • Supervise, train and support staff in office policy; provide instruction and corrective action when required
  • Assist providers as needed
  • Interface between support staff and providers
  • Ensure compliance with office patient financial policy and laws
  • Track and monitor data and metrics that assist in measuring the financial health of the business
  • Work closely with our Management Services Organization developing and resolving patient accounts, insurance carrier/plans, employee and organizational challenges
  • Become a Super-User of our EMR System (Advanced MD)
  • Oversee patient prior authorizations for medications and treatment
  • Research and evaluate eligibility for patient appointments and treatments
  • Compile and forward medical records for insurance requests and/or subpoenas in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Maintain office files (electronic)
  • Work with the MSO in hiring, onboarding, ensuring compliance and all other aspects of the employee experience
  • Take initiative to improve processes, maintain and update Policies and Procedures Manual
  • Represent our business in a professional manner
  • Demonstrate exemplary customer service
  • Arrange for and staff promotional civic events
  • Attend workshops and professional conferences
  • Ensure a professional and positive work culture; demonstrate respect for all
  • Additional responsibilities and duties as needed and requested

Requirements:

  • Three years office management experience, preferably in the medical field
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, with emphasis in Word and Excel
  • Experience and proficiency with EHRs (Electronic Health Records)
  • Analytical and resourceful problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA and other compliance regulations
  • Disciplined, determined, dedicated
  • Capable of multi-tasking and self-starting
  • Exemplary customer service skills, work ethic, integrity and professionalism that demonstrates leadership by example
  • Must have an optimistic outlook and positive energy

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

Job Type:

Full time, in office, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday (occasional weekend event)

Pay: Starting at $ 70,000.00. This is an Exempt from Overtime position.
