Advanced Cardiovascular Clinic is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Flushing, MI

At Advanced Cardiovascular Clinic, we specialize in quality care and maintaining a family-like atmosphere. Currently, we are aiming for expanding our practice so we can continue making a positive difference in our local community. In doing so, we are seeking passionate, outgoing candidates for part-time and full-time medical assistant positions within our company to effectively aid our providers and work as part of a team in a supportive and collaborative environment to uphold our compassionate care.

As a medical assistant, you will be working directly with cardiac physicians, other medical assistants, and patients to maintain medical records in an EMR system, measure and record vitals, prepare treatment rooms, operate EKGs, and anything else that may be required in providing excellent patient care. You will learn about the medical process and will be expected to use a team approach in patient supervision and documentation.

The skills and qualifications that our medical assistants must have include infection control, creating a safe and effective environment, organization, patient focus, confidentiality, bedside manner, medical teamwork, verbally and electronically communicating with patients and supervising physician-patient interactions in a professional manner, completing all administrative tasks efficiently, and helping physicians by identifying and communicating medical record information as well as making changes and placing orders correctly in the medical record system.
