Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The Medical Scribe will work closely with physicians and healthcare providers to accurately document patient encounters in real-time.

Duties:

- Accurately document patient history, physical examination, procedures, and treatment plans as dictated by the healthcare provider
- Maintain organized and detailed medical records
- Assist with coding and billing processes
- Transcribe medical reports
- Coordinate patient scheduling and referrals
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protocols

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Previous experience in medical administrative support or related roles preferred.
- Familiarity with coding systems and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to accurately record vital signs and other patient information.

You will be working very closely with our physicians when they meet with patients and transcribing patient notes into their digital medical records. The scribe provides real-time charting by shadowing the physician throughout their schedule and performs a variety of tasks including recording the patient’s history and chief complaints, transcribing the physical exam, recording diagnostic test results, and coordinating with departmental resources regarding tests, orders, radiology, and results.
