The Production Coordinator reports directly to the Production Manager and assists the Production Management team in a wide variety of duties.

This individual will have strong personal values and integrity, and value working as part of a strong team.They will possess a positive service-orientated attitude and a willingness to work hard and put in the hours necessary.

The position demands strong people skills, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn estimating skills. Experience in planning and managing multiples projects at once is required, as are good computer skills and a strong knowledge of MS Office.

This position works closely with the Office Manager and helps to bridge the Administrative and Production Departments.

A broad knowledge of, and experience in insurance restoration is strongly preferred. The optimal candidate will also have a strong working knowledge of residential construction techniques (drywall, wood framing, flooring, etc.).

Main job responsibilities include :

• Meeting with prospective customers
• Initial walk through and selling of the job
• Estimating projects
• Project setup in various project management systems
• Routine site visits to meet with subs, insurance reps, inspectors, etc.
• Acquiring building permits
• Monitoring and tracking job costs
• Project communication
• Invoicing

Other responsibilities include :

• Maintain warehouse inventory, re-stock, keep clean and organized.
• Help to manage technicians and temp labor.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and make sure each sub has completed a sub-contractor packet and meets our insurance requirements.
