Advanced Health Care is Hiring a Night Nurse Near Albuquerque, NM

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse to join our team. As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing principles, with a focus on delivering exceptional care to patients in various settings, including clinics and home community care.

Duties:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Perform various medical procedures, including catheter care, and ensure proper wound care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to patients' unique needs and goals.
  • Provide health coaching and education to patients, focusing on lifestyle changes, disease management, and overall wellness.
  • Utilize ICD-10 coding standards to accurately document patient information.
  • Collect and process specimens for lab testing.
  • Stay current with industry standards, guidelines, and best practices in nursing.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide memory care support to patients with dementia and other cognitive impairments.
  • Utilize physiology knowledge to identify and address potential health risks.

Requirements:

  • Current nursing license in the applicable state.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Certification in the specialty area or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with medication administration and catheter care.
  • Experience with health coaching and ICD-10 coding.
  • Ability to work in a variety of settings, including clinics and home community care.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and adhering to industry standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $43.72 - $48.23 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
