We are seeking a skilled deburrer/general laborer to join our team and contribute to the finishing process of our products. You will be responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from metal, plastic, or other materials, ensuring that the final products meet quality standards and are safe for use. You will be responsible for doing light assembly work. You may also be responsible for basic machine maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect workpieces to identify burrs, sharp edges, or imperfections.
• Use hand tools such as files, sandpaper, abrasive pads, deburring knives, and brushes to remove burrs and smooth surfaces.
• Operate machinery such as deburring machines, tumblers, or sandblasters as needed.
• Assist in developing work aids and SOP's as related to deburring and tumbling.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear to prevent injuries.
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and productive working environment.
• Communicate any issues or concerns with supervisors or quality control personnel.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in deburring or a related field a MUST.
• Knowledge of different deburring techniques and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects if required.

Education and Training:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training or certification in machining, metalworking, or a related field is a plus.

Work Environment:

• The work environment may include exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals. Proper safety precautions must be followed at all times.
