Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain and record patient vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures, including specimen collection and processing.
• Administer vaccines under the direction of healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
• Assist with office administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and handling patient inquiries.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
• CPR certification required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and computer skills.
• Experience working in a healthcare setting is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
