Advanced Lone Star AV is Hiring an Audio/Video Technician Near Los Angeles, CA

We are an Audio Visual Integration Partner seeking individuals in the Los Angeles area with a positive attitude and a readiness to work.

As a member of the Advanced Lone Star AV team, you'll play a crucial role in our growing team, contributing to AV installations on projects across the greater Los Angeles area and occasionally traveling to out-of-state projects. Joining Advanced Lone Star AV offers the opportunity to work on some of the largest AV projects worldwide in collaboration with leading AV companies.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the ALSAV team to complete AV installations, including installing projection systems, cabling, and termination of A/V systems, pulling wire, wire racks, patch bays, and consoles, and installing A/V devices and rigging speakers.
  • Troubleshoot basic audio, video, and control system problems.
  • Install AV systems according to systems documentation and industry standards and best practices.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and possession of your own set of basic tools.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass onboarding drug screenings with prior notice.
  • Ability to travel 20-25% (open for discussion).

Ideal Skills:

  • Ability to read and understand project drawings and schematics, engineering notes, and operation manuals.
  • Experience with the installation of AV systems and equipment, including flat-panel displays, control systems, and AV signal routing and processing equipment.
  • Ability to fabricate, cable, and test equipment racks and cabinets.
  • Attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a customer service mindset.
  • Adaptability to different project environments and challenges.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, not only for basic issues but also for more complex audio, video, and control system problems.
  • Relevant certifications and proficiency in software tools used in AV installations are a plus.Note:

Prefer for candidate to have basic knowledge of hand tools and preferably have their own tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour
