Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated data analyst to support our data-driven decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis within the healthcare sector and be proficient in Excel, VBA, Python, PowerBI, and SQL. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to work with complex datasets, and the skills to translate data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth data analysis to support healthcare operations, clinical decision-making, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain complex Excel models and VBA macros to automate data processing and reporting tasks.
• Utilize Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automation of data workflows.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI to visualize data and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical, operational, and IT departments, to understand data needs and provide data-driven solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all reports and analyses.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis and healthcare.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a data analyst, with a significant focus on healthcare data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and VBA programming.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high data quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Python for data analysis and automation (Pandas)
• Hands-on experience with PowerBI for data visualization and dashboard creation.
• Experience with SQL for querying and managing large datasets.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and data privacy requirements (HIPAA)
• Familiarity with Medicare claims files (CCLFs) and HL7s
• Familiarity with Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) and/or REACH

Salary:

• $55,000 Commensurate with experience
