**Personal Care Assistant**

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team at a reputable healthcare facility. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to patients in their homes.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.

- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.

- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.

- Assist in transferring patients safely from beds to wheelchairs or other areas.

- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.

**Skills:**

- Experience working in diverse healthcare settings such as clinics, trauma centers, hospitals, and outpatient facilities.

- Proficiency in providing care in medical-surgical units, PICUs, ORs, and inpatient wards.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Empathy and compassion towards patients.

- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.

Pay: $16.89 - $17.74 per hour
