Advanced Orthopedic Innovations is Hiring an Associate Medical Device Sales Representative Near Voorhees, NJ

AOI Distribution Inc., an independent distributor of medical and surgical devices for Medacta USA and Skeletal Dynamics, both leaders in the orthopedic implant industry. 

Job Responsibilities:

- The Sales Associates responsibilities include attending and or providing case coverage for surgeries at hospitals, outpatient surgical centers and other medical facilities. You will provide logistical support by transporting trays and implants to and from medical facilities for surgeries. 50% of your activities will be spent in the operating room and the other time will be spent establishing relationships, building product knowledge, attending trainings, providing sales support to senior sales representatives, and logistical support to AOI. A considerable amount of time will be spent conducting in-services and product trainings with operating room staff and supporting physician’s efforts to improve patient care and provide expert level service.

- The Sales Associate uses their product knowledge to demonstrate and ensure proper utilization of Medacta and Skeletal Dynamics products. All products must be promoted for their approved indication only. The Sales Associate will become a trusted member of the hospital's surgical team in their assigned accounts and will assist the OR clinical staff in cases utilizing Medacta or Skeletal Dynamics products.

- The Sales Associate is required to target and develop new sales opportunities and support efforts to achieve the company’s goals. These activities are expected to broaden and deepen the company's customer base and enhance brand awareness.

- The Sales Associate must achieve a high level of expertise and product competence, as well as develop a positive reputation for integrity.

- The Sales Associate must be able to work flexible hours and have an excellent sense of time management. This is a surgical and trauma based company with a fluid schedule. Surgeries can often be added on, cancelled, and changed at a moment’s notice.

- The Sales Associate must have great organizational skills and attention to detail. They will be responsible for restocking inventory and logistical movements to ensure the proper equipment and inventory is ready for each surgery. 

- The Sales Associate will be expected to complete and submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as specified by management and compliance regulations.

Desired Skills and Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required

· Comfortable in surgical/operating room environment 

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Confidence to speak and communicate technically with surgeons and OR staff 

· Knowledge and background of anatomy preferred

· Valid US driver’s license and own a reliable vehicle

· Ability to lift up to 40lbs

· Ability to stand for long hours during surgery

· Willingness to relocate within the territory to accommodate business when and if a territory becomes available for promotion

All field sales professionals are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic functions of their role. All must comply and successfully complete the required credentialing process which includes proof of COVID 19 vaccine and boosters.
