Entry-level to mid-level experience

Full-time position working under WH Supervisor

Monday - Friday (8 hours)

$18-$21 PER HOUR, depending on experience

Job Description:

Advanced Powering Services has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Support position. We are looking for experienced long-term employees, but will train qualified candidates.

Warehouse Duties Include But Not Limited To:

1. Shipping and Receiving

• Unpack and inspect materials, supplies, and equipment, and verify them against packing lists and purchase orders.
• Receive and process warehouse stock products, such as picking, unloading, labeling, and storing.
• Process requests and supply orders, pull materials, pack boxes, and place orders in the delivery area.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, such as loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping.

3. Delivering/Picking Up Materials

• Drive trucks or vans to and from vendors to complete deliveries.
• Safely transport materials.

4. Inventory Management

• Keep an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.
• Perform inventory controls using a scanner or computer.
• Submit inventory slips to supervisors.

5. Operating equipment

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and dollies.
• Report any discrepancies.

7. Warehouse Cleanup

• Keep a clean and safe working environment
• Optimize space utilization

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to follow safe, efficient freight handling and lifting procedures
• Must be motivated, dependable, able to work independently and multi-task
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions
• Communication and cooperation with supervisors and coworkers.
• Computer proficiency preferred but will train as needed.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Pre-employment background/drug testing required
• Able to commute daily while living locally
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Occasional travel out of state may be required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
