Part-Time Physical Therapy Office Receptionist/Scheduler:

Our physical therapy clinic is seeking applicants desiring a part time position as a Physical Therapy Office Receptionist/Scheduler who will reflect our highly respected practice. The right applicant must be professional, pleasant, compassionate and able to work with a wide array of personnel and patients. This person must be detail oriented, thorough, accurate, and be able to multi-task.

Hours Needed: 20 hours per week with the potential for more hours with cross-training if desired. Preference for availability: Monday - Friday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

Key Job Responsibilities:

· Answer phone calls, direct calls, gather accurate information, and take thorough messages

· Greet patients, both in person and on phone

· Check in patients and confirm all paperwork is complete and accurate

· Scan documents into appropriate location in patient charts

· Schedule, cancel or change appointments as needed

· Check out patients and collect copays and outstanding balances

· Prepare next day's and new patient paperwork

· Keep front desk and lobby areas neat and clean

Essential Skills and Abilities:

· Excellent computer skills with experience in Electronic Medical Records

· Excellent attendance and punctuality with a positive attitude

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with coworkers, patients, and the medical community

· Well organized with attention to detail

· Able to problem solve independently as well as with a team

· Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred
