Key Responsibilities

* Checks electrical units for loose connections

* Measures and cuts wires and conduits

* Drills holes for electrical hook-ups

* Assists electrician by providing he/she tools needed on the job

* Helps with the daily power down of project and storage of electrical equipment

* Follows safety protocols

* Installs Solar modules, racking, wiring

Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required

Education

* High School Degree or GED

Experience

* 1 to 2 years on the job training in a similar role

* Prior electrical experience preferred

Skills & Requirements

* Minimum 18 years of age

* Valid driver's license and insurable driving record

* Successful Pre-Employment Drug and Agility tests

* State-wide travel required

* Ability to decipher between different colors of wiring

* Ability to use basic electrical hand tools (pliers, electrician scissors, wire strippers, etc)

* Ability to use electrical equipment like thermal scanners, circuit tracers and multimeters

* Good listening skills

* Fine motor skills

* Good communication skills

Working Conditions | Environment | Special Requirements

* Full time onsite

* Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, State and Federal regulations.
