Description:

Front office & Back office Medical Assistant tasks such as scheduling, running medical zoom & chats, texts, patient check-in/out, copays, pharmacy calls, triaging emergencies, prior auths, medical records, logistics, vital signs, brain stimulation technician, ketamine treatment monitoring, ADHD testing (we train), EKG's, and blood draws (will train). This is a very "hands-on" job, with much direct contact with doctors, patients, and other professionals.

We train medical assistants for direct patient care such as TMS brain stimulation, monitoring ketamine treatment, ADD testing, and other specialized tasks. Unlike large offices where assistants are stuck doing just one job, we will cross-train you to work in all aspects of medical assisting. This includes front and back office and specialized patient treatments. 

Our large, upscale office is a fantastic, safe & diverse work environment, with digital documents & electronic records (EMR), for both in-person & telehealth patients. We currently have 8 doctors and 10 medical assistants. .

For gap year students, our doctors including the owner, will personally help you apply to grad school and write very strong personal recommendation letters. All hours worked with us count towards Pre-PA. You can have your research with us published.

Qualifications:

Front Office or back office experience required, but we will train gap year student workers without experience.

2 year college degree or better is highly preferred, but not required.

Typing by touch is preferred, but at least 45 WPM.

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is a plus (not required).

Mature, responsible, quick learner, hard-working, high energy, team player. 

Great phone skills, clear English with good grammar, and initiative. 

Leadership skills, intuitive, and good temperament and polite with patients.

Live within driving distance of our office.
