Advancing Sight Network seeks a detail-oriented individual interested in making a life-changing difference in the lives of others. The Accounting Coordinator supports accounting operations and general administration to ensure the efficient business operations of Advancing Sight Network (ASN). The position is remote, but applicants should reside within driving distance of one of our network offices for occasional in-person meetings. ASN values personal and professional growth, offering opportunities for employees to expand their skills and advance within the organization. All responsibilities should be performed within the scope of ASN’s mission and values.
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
· Asset Management: Update inventory lists, assign control numbers to new equipment/furniture, and correlate invoices with purchased items across all ASN offices.
· Invoicing: Prepare and itemize services for invoices, including those for Medicare.
· Accounting Software: Generate and push invoices to our accounting software.
· Account Management: Process new account applications and maintain account information.
· Payment Processing: Process customer credit card payments and record daily payments received.
· Accounts Receivable: Follow up on past-due invoices and prepare monthly account statements.
· Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly financial reports.
Qualifications:
· Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and asset management.
· Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
· Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing job requirements.
· Interpersonal Skills:
o Ability to interact professionally at all organizational levels.
o Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
o High degree of accuracy and confidentiality in work.
