Job Title: Medical Support Lead Base: Advantage Behavioral Health Network Direct Supervisor: Kelly Walker, Nursing Director Job Purpose Summary:
To support Nursing Director and Medical Providers in client care process. This position is integral in communications between clinical team, administration and medical team.
Main Job Functions:
Vital Signs
Coordination of Care Letters
Coordination of medication refills and tracking including injections
Liase between the medical and clinical staff
LMA
Key Performance Indicators:
MA will obtain and document at least one set of vitals signs per month on at least 95% of clients
MA will complete coordination of care letters within 24 hours of client appointments as needed
MA will complete documentation within 48 hours of service provided
Responsibilities Include:
Assist medical providers log prescribed medications in EHR systems
Coordination with pharmacies including billing info and/or clarification of med orders
Maintain tracking system when medication refills are due and coordinate with medical providers
Vivitrol order process and tracking
Coordination of care with case management team or outside providers
Collaboration with outside labs
Maintain a clean and healthy work area in compliance with universal precautions
Maintains accurate data entry into client’s records
Maintain and order needed supplies
Obtain routine and as needed vital signs.
Training of new medical assistants and/or covering staff on all processes

Job Type: Full-time Required education: High school diploma or equivalent Required experience: 1-2 years’ experience working in a Drug & Alcohol Treatment Facility. Experience in UA collection preferred. Proper Knowledge and Skills:
Proper English and grammar, usage and spelling
Software application related to the field
General offices principles and practices
Basic computer knowledge including email etiquette
Professional phone and customer service demeanor
Physical requirements:
Must be able to lift 20-50 lbs.
Occasional to frequent walking, sitting, standing, driving
Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing)
Environmental Factors:
Communicable diseases
Hot/cold temperatures
Environmental conditions may vary
Required licenses or certifications:
Current CPR Certification
Narcan Certified
