Job Purpose Summary:
The Scheduling Coordinator is tasked with being the first point of contact when anyone reaches out for help. They are responsible for providing facility and program information as well as support for clients, families, and treatment providers, while facilitating and evaluating the clinical, medical, and financial requirements of the admissions process. Our goal is to always be a little kinder and a little quicker than our competitors – which translates into a positive client experience.
Responsibilities Include:

• Answer all incoming calls using a professional and courteous manner.
• Complete over-the-phone assessments according to screening criteria.
• Ability to speak intelligibly and accurately about our program and services offered.
• Coordinate and schedule new intake dates and times.
• Work well on a team and maintain a high level of organization.
• Complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner to keep electronic records up to date.
• Obtain previous treatment center clinical and medical records.
• Follow up with all non-converted admissions.
• Assist in coordinating a referral process.
• Facilitate therapy placement for admitted patients.
• Maintain and update clinical roster for proper clinical matching of patients.

Job Type: Full-time - West Palm Beach, FL
Recommended education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Billing and Coding Certification from one of the following national certification exams:

• American Medical Billing Association - Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CRMS) Board Exam
• AAPC - Certified Professional Coder's (CPC®,) Certified Outpatient Coder (or CPC-HCOC™) [formerly CPC-H®,] Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC™,) or Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA®) Board Exam
• American Health Information Management Association - Certified Coding Associate (CCA®,) Certified Coding Specialist (CCS®,) or Certified Coding Specialist Physician-Based (CCS or CCS-P®) Board Exam - The CCS & CCS-P credentials require experience in addition to the education

Required experience: High School Diploma or related experience preferred.
Proper Knowledge and Skills:

• Proper English and grammar, usage and spelling
