Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing and HR compliance, particularly with experience managing compliance across multiple states. This role will support various HR functions, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining a positive and productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities

• Administer and process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and local laws across multiple states.
• Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
• Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
• Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, providing guidance and support to employees and management.
• Coordinate employee benefits programs, including health insurance and other company-sponsored benefits.
• Conduct HR training sessions for employees and management on various topics, such as compliance, benefits, and performance management.
• Support and execute HR initiatives and projects that align with the company’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Human Resources role, with a strong emphasis on payroll processing.
• Experience with HR compliance in multiple states is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
• Proficiency with HRIS and payroll software is a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
