Head Cook Duties And Responsibilities
- Plan monthly lunch and dinner menus
- Monitor ingredient quality for freshness and stock levels
- Coordinate food ordering with vendors
- Inspect deliveries to ensure accuracy of orders
- Prep and cook meals for 35 pp
- Maintain food on steam table, cooling table, and buffet
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of food
- Operate kitchen appliances and ensure they are properly working
- Use commercial dishwasher to clean pots and pans
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe kitchen environment
- Previous batch cooking experience preferred
- Restricted/Shift Manager Food Handler’s Permit
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Adaptable and positive attitude
- Great communication skills
